Welcome to the Evangelical United Church of Christ! We are open and affirming, and our mission is to spread the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. Our church is a place where people of all backgrounds and beliefs can come together to worship and grow spiritually. We believe in the power of community and strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all who enter our doors.

Our Statement of Faith: Under God’s guidance, we at the Evangelical United Church of Christ interpret the scriptures and apply them in our daily lives as well as our church life. Our mission is broader than our home at 10th and Elm, and we know got created heaven and earth and all who are in it. We welcome and affirm all persons of every race, age, gender, physical or mental ability, and sexual orientation into the full life and ministry of this community of faith, including membership and leadership. We open our doors to all people in who live in the heart of Christ.

 

The members of the Evangelical United Church of Christ are a friendly, open group of people with a serious commitment to the learning and living of God's word. We are a family-oriented congregation dedicated to the spiritual growth of our children and adults. Our church has provided stable leadership for the community, confronting personal and social issues with spiritual guidance. Our goal is to continue this outreach in our support of congregation, community and beyond.

Through strong leadership the area of Lay Visitation has been established. We strongly believe in the church's ministry of Our Church's Wider Mission, or O.C.W.M., our biblical and spiritual education, and our future growth.
